I'm from Georgia but Texas is home now. Military brought us out here. Have two gorgeous little girls and a wife who keeps me sane.
How did you get interested in Crossfit?
I've always been interested in keeping in shape and have always been interested in crossfit but when I became a daddy I put alot of things on hold.
When your motivation is down, how do find the drive to get up and come in?
There's alot of days that I don't feel like coming in but I know that once I get here and start lifting and socializing it takes all my issues and problems and puts them on hold. I can think about how I can tackle them and overcome them just like a difficult lift.
What is your least favorite movement?
Wall balls are a device of the devil. I hate wall balls!
What is your next goal that Crossfit Cataclysm can help you reach?
I've already gone down in two pants sizes, I think as I get more and more comfortable with the lifts and build on my muscle stamina I would like to do some competitions someday.
What would you say to someone that has never tried Crossfit and is looking to get started? Tips, advice?
For someone new I'd say listen to the coaches and anything you've learned in the past forget it. The goal is not to get hurt and become that all around athlete. To do that, you have to take it slow and push yourself. Go on the days that you sign up to be there. If you stick to a particular time each week you can make some great friends and push each other.
